High Aspects use the best fibers made regardless of cost in both warp (where available) and fill: 1W70, and Dacron 52.

These fabrics use much higher counts of finer, smaller denier yarns than do competing fabrics.

4.6 is suitable for mains and genoas with 2.8 / 1 or less aspect ratio.

5.6 is suitable for mains and genoas with 3 / 1 or less aspect ratio.

6.42 is suitable for mains and genoas with 3 / 1 or less aspect ratio.

6.62 is suitable for mainsails of approx. 3 / 1 aspect ratios, and high aspect genoas.

7.62 is suitable for 2.5 / 1 aspect ratio mains, and high or medium aspect genoas.
